GUIDELINES

Our mission is to provide a safe forum for students to share their classroom experiences for the benefit of other fellow students. To ensure that all users benefit from this helpful, balanced and authentic community, we ask that users abide by these community guidelines (“Community Guidelines”). 

These Community Guidelines are incorporated into our Terms of Use. Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Terms of Use.

• Be honest in your reviews. We rely on the sincerity of our users to establish trust on this platform;
• It is helpful to provide both pros and cons when reviewing a course or educational institution;
• Reviews should focus specifically on your learning experience. Do not comment on a professor’s appearance, dress, age, gender or race;
• Do not speak on behalf of others. We encourage you to share your individual experience;
• This is not a venue for debate. If you do not agree with someone’s individual experience, we encourage you to share your own;
• Acknowledge that all individuals have their own needs and learning styles. Tell us how the course or educational institution was ideal (or not ideal) for you;
• Make sure your reviews are constructive and respectful;
• We encourage you to critically assess every review that you read.

• We will not remove reviews simply because they are negative. Reviews will only be removed if we decide, in our sole discretion, that they do not comply with our Terms of Use or these Community Guidelines;
• Make sure your responses to reviews are respectful.

We may decide, in our sole discretion, to remove reviews that contain the following:

• Profanity, name-calling, and/or vulgarity, derogatory remarks about religion, ethnicity or race, gender, physical appearance, age, mental and/or physical disabilities;
• References to a professor or student’s personal life;
• Direct references to other reviews that have been deleted by us.
