FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We are an Educational Review Website designed by students for students to get a better picture of what studying at a particular school would be like. Check out the About Us page for more information.

The ratings are written by students who have studied or are currently studying in an educational institution. They evaluate the school by specific criteria and overall opinion. Individual ratings are shown in the respective school page, and an average calculation is shown based on the total ratings.

Greenboards supports all divergent opinions expressed in a respectful manner. To secure the authenticity and credibility of the ratings, Greenboards has filters to prevent bad language and fraudulent reviews. However, if you see suspect content, please send a message to contact@thegreenboards.com with the review.

To write a new review, you must register and login. You can register for free. If you are already logged in, you can submit a review by clicking the “Write a Review” button located at the top of the pages, and then follow the instructions. After publishing the review, you will be able to visualize it as well as all other reviews saved in your profile page. Go to Write a Review page.

Greenboards offers you the option to publish your review as “anonymous”. For this, in the “Write a Review” page you must select the option “I want to appear as anonymous”. It is suggested to double check your review and this option before publishing it. Remember that even if you send it anonymously, you must register and log in to Greenboards to publish it. We will compile your school’s information and make it available as soon as possible so that you can write the review. We just ask for a little patience if your region is not yet covered by the platform; we are working daily on our database expansion.

You can edit your profile information by clicking on 'Edit My Profile' button at the upper right corner of your profile. Go to My Account.

All reviews you wrote can be found in the Reviews section of your Profile page.

If you want to edit or remove a review you posted, you must click on the XX button in the Reviews section on your Profile page. There you will find the options for editing and removing.

Some considerations for defining a fraud are: 

• Writing a review for your own business without being a student
• Offering incentives for biased reviews
• Harassment of reviewers / requests to delete negative ratings
• Reviews by users that didn’t enroll in the courses of the selected school

All the reviews resulting from fraudulent actions will be deleted and the users may be blocked from the platform. This includes not only users but also companies. Go to Community Guidelines to know more.

To have your institution registered on our website you can submit the Institution form and select Join Greenboards as the subject.

To report a review that violates our rules and guidelines, you can click the Report button in the lower right corner of the review post. Another option is to send us a message via the Contact us page.

To inform us of any update regarding your school, we ask you to send us a message on the Institutions page. All your information will be there for future actions and to facilitate your updates and requests.

The photos are from students who share their experiences with us. If you have pictures of any registered institution, you can share them by writing a review.

You can compare schools by using the comparison tool in your profile page. There, you can choose schools by name and check their information, such as average ratings, number of reviews, among others.

After selecting your first choices in the Home page, you can narrow your search by filters such as the location of the school, courses workloads and much more, in the left side of the results page.

It means that you can save a school you like in your profile by clicking the heart symbol close to it’s name. Any time you are logged in, you can view a list of your favorited schools to analyze them more carefully on your profile page. Go to my favourites.
